I became a grandmother last night. Larissa had a baby. Mason
August Rei. He was 5lbs 5oz and he was 18 ½ inches long. He was born at
12:55pm.
I watched as my grandson came into this world. Having been
through childbirth four times before, I thought all I knew all there was to
know about the miracle of childbirth. Boy was I wrong. Watching my grandson
being born was a feeling I could never have expected. Seeing him take his first
breath changed me. The words don’t exist and the feelings are beyond
description.
I am a grandmother. I have a grandson.

power to protect you and keep you from harm. I will spoil you and love you more
than is possible.
